Amber
Nelson has always been drawn to creative pursuits. Born and raised in
Maryland, she majored in Art History and Fine Art and earned her
Interior Design education in her home state and from Academy of Art (San
Fransisco, CA), beginning her career in 2003. Her fireplace designs
were published by Baltimore Magazine, and she won best kitchen design in
a branded interior design competition.
Amber’s approach to design starts with choosing a few key starring pieces, followed by layering in subtle supporting elements to bring the aesthetic of an overall design to life. She enjoys designing bespoke furniture and different aspects of a space, including selecting fabrics and finishes, to create a one-of-a-kind look for her clients. When she is not designing interiors, Amber stays creative with painting and writing, and loves to sing her heart out at karaoke!
